We have a training and placement department almost from the inception of college. The placement activates are coordinated by the placement team, comprises the staff from each department. Various activities are carried out to make them more employable as per the current scenario.

The activities are:

Arranging in-plant training and industrial visits to the students to understand the industry practices and demands.
Organizing guest lectures by inviting industrial tycoons.
Imparting personality development programs.
Providing adequate employment related information.
Providing facilities to take up competitive examinations.
Arranging campus interviews.

General Activities

Totally 30 students were selected for IAS Coaching class through APTITUDE test conducted by PSDCMF Academy. Dindugal. Selected candidates are taken by bus to PSDCMF academy every weekend and return on the same day by bus. Management sponsors the transport expenditure while PSDCMF academy provides free training. Topics on General studies, Science, Economics, Political science, Aptitude, Quantitative and Reasoning etc. which are essential for preparation of Civil service, TNPSC and other competitive examinations. Reading material has been arranged and regular examinations is also conducted by the centre. A separate section has been added to the library.
Agriculture related books, CBSC books and NCERT books, Books related to Quantitative and Reasoning and related CD’s, Employment News Magazines, “The HINDU” newspaper are purchased and exhibited in our library and students are free to access this books whenever they want.
ICAR coaching classes are conducted regularly by faculty in the subject of Social science, Plant Science, Soil Science, Horticulture, Biotechnology, Plant protection and Agricultural Statistics.

Internship for landscaping has been arranged through placement cell for final year outgoing students at landscaping firm is located at Coimbatore.
